If you've ever used a telescope of some sort, you've more than likely wanted to capture what you've seen to show your family and friends or even your co-workers at work the next day. But unfortunately, it's a bumpy road from visual observation to taking an astrophotograph. The ZWO Seestar S30 smartphone automatically finds the object you want and takes care of the focusing, and takes the picture! You don't even need to train your binoculars, you can instantly rely on the GoTo feature.
The instrument's premium-quality, triple (triplet) apochromatic lens ensures perfect imaging, which the built-in Sony IMX662 Full HD resolution (1080x1920 pixels) sensor stores and stitches together for you into a single image. Yes, it stacks, as it enriches your images in real time into an increasingly detailed picture that you can instantly show off to your fellow observers. Since the images are managed by your smartphone's app, there's no need for complicated cabling, you can control your binoculars via WiFi (5G & 2.4G) connection. Reduce the effects of light pollution with the built-in dual-band narrow-band filter. To maximise noise reduction, the scope also automatically captures dark images with theBuilt-in Dark Filter.
Weighing just 1.7kg, you can easily take the binoculars with you, even to the ends of the earth. Fully charged, it can run for 6 hours, which is plenty for a night's use.
