Stereo-microscopes owe their popularity to their wide range and ease of use. Because of its arm design, the SZM-650T is recommended for industrial use.
Our SZM-650T microscope is equipped with a 0.7x-4.5x zoom objective, which allows for stepless adjustment of magnifications from 7x to 45x with the standard WF10x eyepiece. The eyepiece has an outstandingly large field of view: at 7x magnification, it gives a field of view of 28.6 mm. Thanks to its complex construction, it provides a contrasty image with a sharp image right to the edge of the field of view. The head of the microscope can be slid up and down on a rod to a maximum height of 380 mm, and can even be tilted sideways up to 420 mm, allowing objects of virtually any size to be placed underneath. There is 100 mm of working space under the objectives, which can be increased to 165 mm with an optional 0.5x reduction lens. By fitting the rubber eyecup included in the package to the top of the eyepieces, you can exclude side scattered light for more comfortable observation. The binocular head is tilted at 45° and its eye relief is freely adjustable between 55-75 mm. Dioptric correction is provided on both sides.
The microscope head can not only be raised and lowered, but also tilted, providing greater freedom of movement compared to the SZM-600A microscope. The binocular head has a 23.2 mm camera connection and a separate focus adjustment option, and can be switched to either introducing light into the camera or the left eyepiece.
The microscope does not have illumination, so the use of some form of external illumination is highly recommended. The basic package also includes a sturdy cover sheet to protect the microscope from dust when not in use.
