The advantage of LED ring illumination compared to the built-in illumination of stereo microscopes is that it illuminates the object evenly in a circle (without shadows) and in many cases it is also stronger.
Compatible with the SZM series microscopes we sell, especially recommended for zoom models. The inner diameter of the illumination is 60 mm, but it is possible to mount it on stereo-microscopes with smaller objective mounts.
The LED illumination has a maximum power of 3W and its brightness is adjustable with a spare meter. Its colour is a cool, slightly bluish shade. The power supply is provided via a 220V mains connection, the connection cable is included in the package.
