The advantage of fluorescent ring illumination compared to the built-in illumination of stereo microscopes is that it illuminates the object evenly in a circle (without shadows) and in many cases it is also stronger.
Compatible with the SZM series microscopes we sell, especially recommended for zoom models. The fluorescent tube power is 8W, 450 lumens. The colour temperature is 6300K, which gives a light similar to daylight.
It has a 220 V mains socket, and a spare fluorescent tube is included (so there are 2 fluorescent tubes in total). The inner bore of the ring is 60 mm, but three screws allow it to be attached to stereo microscopes with smaller objective mounts.
