The SkyWatcher StarQuest 90/1250 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope is an excellent choice for users who value performance, portability and ease of use. The 90 mm MC telescope is an ideal instrument for discerning beginners. The new StaQuest equatorial mount is lightweight, weighing only 1.2 kg, yet sturdy enough to carry telescope optical tubes weighing under 3 kg. Its large 122-tooth worm gear enables smooth fine adjustment through 360° on both axes. The extendable tripod can be adjusted to the observer’s height for significantly improved stability, while the eyepiece tray provides a practical place for accessories used during observation. Although the mount is designed for equatorial use, it can also be used in alt-azimuth mode when set to a horizontal position.
