Designed by the legendary American optician Thomas Back (hence the TMB designation), these eyepieces are highly popular worldwide.
Comfortable viewing is ensured by 16 mm of eye relief, while the screw-adjustable upper section allows the eyepiece to be set so that your eye is always at the ideal distance. The generous 58° field of view is very well corrected. The eyepiece consists of 5 lens elements (except for the 9 mm version, which has 6), and naturally, every lens element features multilayered anti-reflection coatings (fully multicoated).
