The SkyWatcher StarQuest 102/1300 MC telescope comes with a 20 mm and a 10 mm Barium eyepiece, providing magnifications of 65x and 130x respectively. A 1.25” mirror diagonal makes observing more comfortable. The basic package also includes a Starpointer to help locate celestial objects. A camera can also be attached using the T2 thread at the end of the focuser.
The StarQuest equatorial mount is lightweight at just 1.2 kg, yet sufficiently stable for moving the telescope tube. It provides precise 360° slow-motion control on both axes. The extendable aluminium legs can be adjusted to the observer’s height, while the accessory tray holds the accessories used for observing. Although the mount is designed for equatorial use, it can also be used in alt-azimuth mode when set horizontally if required.
