The SkyWatcher Evostar 120/1000 Lens Telescope is recommended for those looking for a large, yet manageable refractor. The superb optics provide particularly sharp and contrasty views of the surface details of the Moon and planets, even allowing you to observe the famous Cassini Rift in the ring of Saturn. The well-machined optics allow magnification up to 250x.
With the standard 25 mm and 10 mm Super Bárium eyepieces, 40x and 100x magnification is possible, and a 9x50 telescope with a 9x50 finder scope is also available for comfortable use. The telescope is supplied with a 2" zenith mirror, which allows you to use the optional 2" eyepieces to "conjure" a real deep-sky telescope.
The SkyWatcher Evostar 120/1000 telescopes can be purchased with EQ-3 or steel-footed NEQ-5 equatorial mount. The latter has a much more stable design and shakes less during use. Both mounts are equipped with fine adjustment and can be upgraded with single or twin motor or GoTo controls. The eyepiece tray can hold a variety of accessories and the extendable foot can be adjusted to your height.
