With the Opticron MM4 60 GA ED spectrophotometers, the factory's new generation of instruments has put the emphasis on smaller size, brighter, brighter and sharper imaging while maintaining the traditionally reliable, sophisticated design. The 44% larger surface area of the smaller MM4 50 GA ED provides an even brighter image at higher magnifications and in lower light conditions. Opticron MM4 60 GA ED straight and 45% version is an ideal choice for sport shooters, archers for target practice or simply to view the surrounding panorama and birdlife from the balcony.
As with most higher-end brands, the scope does not have an included zoom eyepiece, so that the user can take possession with the type of eyepiece that best suits their needs. The manufacturer recommends the Opticon HR, HDF, SDLv2 eyepieces, so that either zoom or fix magnification can be achieved. Where the magnification range of binoculars ends, the time for Opticron spectra comes. When placed on a tripod, they allow long and comfortable observation over the full magnification range. Thanks to its high-quality, multi-layered FMC coatings, the binocular's light-harvesting image is more contrasty, brighter and more colour-faithful than cheaper instruments, and its apochromatic lens replacement system ensures high-quality imaging free of chromatic aberration.
The Opticron MM4 60 GA ED spectroscope iswaterproof, so there is no need to worry about condensation leaking inside the tube. Its 45-degree-viewing version is recommended for both horizontal and upward viewing, while its straight-viewing version is a favorite of sport shooters and hunters, for example. Thanks to its short (3.5 m) closest point, it also allows us to observe at shorter distances, which is useful for small, shy creatures and birdwatchers.
For added convenience, the tube can be rotated 360 degrees in its tripod ring and positioned every 45 degrees around its longitudinal axis. Of particular note is the two-speed (9:1) microfocus focusing eyepiece for very precise focusing. A photo adapter is available as an option, making it possible to shoot with SLR cameras. The reliable quality of the product is guaranteed by Japanese manufacturing.
TIP: The MM4 60 Spectra can be used with a 700mm F11.7 telephoto lens using the MM4 60 Photo Adapter.
