The Celestron Ultima's 80 mm diameter objective lens provides remarkably clear images not only in daylight but also in twilight. Thanks to its particularly high-quality anti-reflection coatings, its image is more colourful than its competitors. The zoom eyepiece included in the basic package allows quick adjustment between 20x and 60x magnifications - just twist the side and in one movement you can get up close to, for example, a bird's colourful plumage or a deer's antlers. The eyepiece features a T2 thread, which allows you to mount SLR or mirrorless cameras with the optional T2 adapter ring.
Don't you love a product made from durable materials? We have good news: the housing is made of aluminium, which guarantees lightweight yet long-lasting use. In addition, the prism housing has extra protection in the form of a rubber coating. Its waterproof construction makes it robust and we recommend it for field work.
