The ZWO 2" Drawer Filter Holder (Mark II) is a lightweight, practical alternative to filter changers. It allows you to quickly change the 2" filter without removing the camera and without messing up your setup.
The filter holder can be attached to our camera with a T2 thread. On the telescope side there is an M48 thread but a T2 thread connection is also available using the standard M48/T2 adapter.
The lightweight yet sturdy construction features a magnetic lock for precise attachment of the filter drawer, with matte black surfaces that are non-reflective all around. Its 66 mm diameter, round design makes it particularly suitable for taking images with, for example, Celestron RASA tubes, where the filter housing does not cause excessive central overhang at the auxiliary mirror position.
With the width of the ZWO 2-inch drawer filter holder being exactly 21 mm, it replaces the 21 mm T2 extension tube when used with ZWO cameras. The product includes one 2" filter holder drawer, however additional drawers can be purchased. It can also be used with optional 2" to 1.25" adapters for smaller filters.
The Mark II differs from its predecessor in that any possible light filtering has been eliminated when the filter holder and drawer are connected. The two small "wings" of the drawer, snap onto the cover of the filter holder.
