The ZWO filter drawer is a lightweight, practical alternative to filter wheels. It allows 2" filters to be changed quickly without removing the camera or disturbing the imaging setup.
The filter holder attaches to the camera via a T2 connection, while the telescope-facing side features an M48 thread.
Despite its lightweight yet robust construction, the filter drawer is held securely in place by a magnetic lock, while all surfaces feature a matte black, non-reflective finish. Its round 66 mm diameter design makes it particularly suitable for imaging with Celestron RASA optical tubes, for example, where it can be installed in place of the removed secondary mirror without causing excessive central obstruction.
As the ZWO 2" filter drawer is exactly 21 mm wide, when used with ZWO cameras it also replaces a 21 mm T2 extension tube. The product includes one 2" filter drawer, while additional drawers are also available separately. With an optional 2"–1.25" adapter, smaller filters can also be used.
