Quality starts with the objectives
The microscope has four semi-plan acromatic objectives that draw sharp, contrasty images almost to the edge of the field of view. The standard equipment includes objectives with 4x-10x-40x-100x magnification, which are easily interchangeable thanks to their DIN standard mountings. You can choose from four different wide-angle plano-oculars (WF10X, WF12.5x, WF16x, WF20x) for the microscope, allowing you to tailor the magnification to your needs. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring-loaded to protect the slide from breaking.
LED illumination for outstanding colours
The slide is illuminated by a built-in LED illumination that in many ways outperforms conventional halogen bulbs: its colour temperature allows for a more contrasty image and its light is more even. In addition, it has the not inconsiderable advantage of not heating up and consuming less energy. The quality of the illumination can be fine-tuned with several solutions: a cone knob and an iris blend from 2 mm to 30 mm diameter can be used to adjust the intensity, and the Abbe N.A. 1.25 capacitor can even be used to change the focus. All these features allow the use of the Koehler illumination method.
Precision above all else
In addition to the "normal" focus adjustment, there is also a fine focus adjustment with 0.1 mm step spacing so that the resulting image is always razor-sharp. The mount is equipped with fine adjustment and can be set to a precision of 0.1 mm - eliminating the need to touch the specimen manually, thus touching the microscope. The moving parts are free of any backlash, making it comfortable to work with.
Trinocular head for microscopy enthusiasts
For those who are serious about capturing the image they see in a microscope, the trinocular head is a real help. The viewing head is tilted 30° and rotates 360°, making it convenient to use from any direction. It also has an independent camera socket to control the amount of light that reaches it.
The basic package also includes yellow, green and blue filters, as well as a strong cover sheet to protect the microscope from dust when not in use.
