This 70 mm diameter SkyWatcher 70/900 lens telescope is highly recommended for beginner sky watchers. The tiny craters of the Moon, the magnificent ring of Saturn, or even the magnificent cloud bands of Jupiter are certain to impress the novice observer. But the telescope can do more! With a little practice, you can catch a number of binary stars, dazzling star clusters and mysterious galaxies.
The 70 mm objective lens is equipped with a reflection-reducing coating that improves the sharpness and contrast of the image it produces. Inside the box you'll find everything you need to get started! First and foremost, two eyepieces that give magnifications of 36x and 90x, plus a 2x Barlow lens for additional magnifications of 72x and 180x. The standard package includes a 6x24 finder scope for easy alignment of celestial objects and a zenith scope for comfortable viewing. It's not very common in its class to find a T2 thread at the end of its focusing eyepiece, which makes it easy to attach SLR cameras to it.
The telescopes can be purchased with an EQ-1 mount or the more stable EQ-2 mount with a tube ring connection. Both versions make it easy to follow the sky and even more comfortable to use with a watch mount. The eyepiece tray can be fitted with a wide range of accessories, including your observing scope. And the extendable aluminium foot can be adjusted to your height.
Take a seat next to the telescope and discover the wonders of the sky as soon as possible!
