The SkyWatcher solar filter film is perhaps the most popular light-reduction solution for solar observation. Its highly affordable price is paired with excellent quality, allowing the Sun to be viewed in a pleasant orange colour.
We recommend mounted solar filter films for those who do not wish to spend time making solar filters themselves. Please note, however, that factory-made solutions are often smaller than the telescope objective, reducing the performance of your telescope to a greater or lesser extent.
This product is primarily compatible with SkyWatcher telescopes and cannot be fitted to telescopes from other manufacturers!
