After deep-focus photography, an important step in image processing is to correct errors in the optical system. One step in this process is to "remove" the vignetting of the system or dust speckles on the camera sensor.
At night, there is no sufficiently large and evenly illuminated surface, which is where the flatbox comes in. It's very simple to use: place it on the front of the telescope and switch it on to get a uniformly illuminated surface that allows you to take flat images.
The flatbox requires 12V power, which can be supplied via an optional connection cable from a battery or even from a 220V mains power source. A flatbox for a given telescope can also be used on smaller telescopes.
The v2 models have lower brightness compared to the previous version.
