The Nocpix Lumi L19 thermal camera represents the strong mid-range within the company's Lumi family. Compared to the lower-end Lumi P13 thermal imaging camera, it has more light-gathering optics, much higher sensitivity and a larger sensor.
The device's F0.9 luminosity optics collect almost 20% more light than the F1.0 (also considered very bright) thermal cameras on the market. The fixed-focus lens has a default magnification of 2x, which can be increased digitally up to 8x. For human-form detection, the sensitive 18 mk thermal sensor provides up to 980 m. This model also features a manual speed adjustment ring on the optics.
The elementary pixels of the 384 x 288 sensor are only 12 µ in size, which makes it possible to see finer details better. A 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, cold-tolerant AMOLED sensor is used to view the image captured by the device. The advanced artificial intelligence (AI) used in the device enhances the image, giving you a more contrasty, detailed view.
For hunting use, it is recommended for medium spread, large game. Suitable for asset protection purposes, such as site guarding and good for all rescue and search tasks where you want to see over a larger area at the same time and need the higher magnification.
A wide range of settings is available, including different colour modes, hotspot highlights for quick detection, or even eye-saving green and red modes. With the PIP mode (picture in picture), you can see a small magnified image at a time, while still maintaining the visual quality of the surroundings. You can also control the viewfinder thermal imaging camera via WiFi and view or save your captured images. Not only can you capture still images, but also video (with its built-in microphone) and even audio. You can also save your pictures to the phone's internal 32Gb memory.
The compact and lightweight handset body provides a secure grip. It is powered by a 18650 removable battery, but you have the option to use an external power supply such as a powerbank via a USB-C cable. The thermal camera can run for 4.5 hours on its own battery.
On the eyepiece (eye lens) sidewith a diopter correction range of -5 to +5, you can adjust the focus to your own eyes.
