The Armytek Predator Pro Magnet USB Tactical/Hunting Flashlight is available as a set or as a standalone flashlight. If you want to use it as a hunting flashlight, it is advisable to purchase it as a set, as the tactical swing switch, magnetic mount is designed primarily for hunting use. However, if you intend to use it for law enforcement, guard/protection activities or other outdoor hobby/sport, it may be sufficient to buy the light alone, as there is also the possibility to purchase certain accessories (e.g. colour filters) afterwards.
The Armytek Predator Pro Magnet USB flashlight is specifically designed for hunting and tactical needs and demands, as long range and narrow illumination beam cone are essential for accurate aiming in hunting flashlights. Other important criteria are low weight, a slip-threaded handle, long operating time and a tactical switch knob on the end of the flashlight, which allows the flashlight to be used safely with gloves on. The switch button can also be "swapped" for a rocker switch, which is particularly useful for hunting use, but unlike older models there is no need to remove the switch, as, like the magnetic charger, the magnetic rocker switch or charger end is attached directly to the switch button. This solution ensures much quicker deployment!
The Armytek Predator Pro Magnet USB family is fully compatible with Armytek color filter ballasts and magnetic mounts, however a new charging cable (AMC-03) and magnetic rocker switch (MRS-01) have been designed for the new Magnet USB end. Thanks to its higher power, the new charger rextremely quickly charges the battery in the lamp.
The manufacturer has also paid attention to seemingly small but important details such as the matte black titanium coating of the belt clip and the cutting edge on the front of the lamp, which prevents any glare from the sides when external light hits the lamp body.
With a white light output of 1500 lumens, the LED provides extremely high brightness to illuminate up to 501 m with a single 18650 power source.6 modes allow you to change the brightness in multiple modes with a single switch at the end of the light. Among other things, a stroboscope function is also available, which can be used to blind and confuse opponents. Its optics provide up to a narrow 5° spot light, while its larger 40° beam cone provides light for a wider area. It can be powered by a single 18650 battery which is included in the kit.
The highest level of water, dust and impact resistance is not a coincidence for hunting lights. Designed for harsh conditions, the lights are extremely durable: the manufacturer claims that the material (anodised aerospace aluminium alloy) can withstand being dropped from 25 metres and the internal construction is highly resistant to vibration, so it can withstand the effects of kickback. With the highest IP68 dust and water resistance, the lamp can withstand up to 25 m for 5 hours without breaking down, making Armytek hunting lights a great choice for boating enthusiasts.
After being switched on, the light will operate at the last brightness level used. The advanced electronics of the Armytek Predator Pro keep the internal heat under control during operation. Before the power source runs down, the lamp decreases in brightness in several steps and then switches to emergency light mode, avoiding a sudden complete shutdown.
