Lacerta 120 cm long dehumidifier Compatible with 4 cm wide tubes with a circumference of 92-126 cm. Requires 12V and 2.00 A current consumption.
Anyone who has noticed the autumn-winter chill knows how much of a problem condensation can be. Dew caps offer a degree of protection, but here is the "real" solution. Dehumidifiers are tiny little heating pads or heating fibres that keep the optics warm. They can be attached around the eyepiece or tube using Velcro. They are particularly recommended for Schmidt and Makasutov-Cassegrain binoculars, where the correcting lens is more exposed to condensation, but are also useful for owners of binoculars with a lens. The dehumidifiers require a 12 V power supply.
The Lacerta, Omegon, and AST dehumidifiers have RCA apa connectors.
