The ZWO UV/IR block filter is a "basic piece" for anyone who takes astrophotographs with a lens of any kind. Unfocussed infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) light rays create a cluttered mesh in the images because, unlike the human eye, both CCD and CMOS cameras are sensitive to these wavelengths.
