The ZWO TC40 carbon foot is primarily made for ZWO AM3 and AM5 professional travel mechanics, but can also accommodate other heads with standard 3/8" tripod threads, such as the SkyWatcher Star Adventurer Gti mechanics head. To do this, unwind the mounting screw and turn it back the other way so that the screw protrudes from the plane of the tripod base.
The carbon fibre legs are champions of light weight and stability: although weighing just 2.3kg, they have a 50kg load capacity, according to the manufacturer's figures. With the legs fully extended, the head can be lifted up to a height of 800 mm and requires a space of 950 mm diameter to be placed on it.
