The TS-Optics 80/600 Guidescope refractor, developed for guided astronomical imaging, is a true guidescope, but can also be used for visual purposes with the purchase of optional eyepiece accessories.
Guiding binoculars work great with modern autoguiders. Its big advantage is that it has a standard 31.7 mm (1.25") eyepiece with a T2 end. Its 80 mm diameter optics can use even very faint stars for guiding. Its lightweight, short design does not put significant extra strain on the carrying mechanics. To be able to use the camera without a cenito mirror, you will also need a T2-T2 40 mm extension arm.
The all-metal grip with the free rack and pinion is very precise, no clucking or "rattling", and the grip can be adjusted and locked in focus with a fine adjustment screw.
A pair of guide rings is available to mount the TS-Optics 80/600 Guidescope refractor.
The TS-Optics 80/600 Guidescope refractor does not include an autoguider, which can be purchased separately!
