The ToupTek AFW-Mini motorized filter wheel accommodates 5×1.25" or 5×31 mm filters. Filters can be changed electronically via a computer or the ToupTek StellaVita device. It is an ideal choice for cameras with sensors up to 20 mm in diameter.
The filter wheel features a T2 thread on both sides, ensuring a simple and secure connection between the telescope and camera. The unit connects to a computer via a USB 2.0 port and can be easily controlled with any compatible software after installing the ASCOM driver.
The ToupTek AFW-Mini motorized filter wheel features a high-quality aluminium housing, is only 20 mm thick, and weighs just 340 g. Its slim design allows it to be positioned close to the camera sensor, helping to minimize the risk of vignetting even with fast optical systems.
Special attention has been paid to protection against stray light, while filter changes are ensured by a powerful stepper motor that operates reliably even at low temperatures, along with ball bearings.
