The ToupTek motorized filter wheel for 7×2" or 7×50.8 mm filters allows fast, convenient and efficient switching between filters placed in the telescope's optical path during astrophotography.
The filter wheel accepts 7 mounted 2" filters or 7 unmounted filters with a diameter of 50.8 mm. It can be easily connected to a computer or even to a ToupTek StellaVita controller using the included USB cable. Thanks to its ASCOM driver, it is also compatible with a wide range of third-party software. The 7 filter positions provide ample capacity for creating spectacular composite images by combining L-RGB monochrome exposures with narrowband filters such as H-alpha, OIII and H-beta. The robust filter wheel housing requires only 20 mm of optical path length.
The ToupTek motorized filter wheel housing features an M54 female thread on both sides, allowing easy connection to devices with M42 or M48 threads using the adapters included in the basic package. It also provides a screw-on mounting option for cooled cameras. When using the adapters, an exact 55 mm sensor distance can be achieved with cameras featuring 17.5 mm back focus.

Note! Only filters with mounts no wider than 5 mm can be used in the filter wheel. (This value does not include the thread length.) Among the filters we distribute, only Baader filters have wider mounts; filters from other manufacturers can be used without issue.
