The ToupTek AAF motorized focuser even meets the demanding, precise requirements of astrophotography. It can be controlled from either the included handheld controller or a computer.
With the included factory adapters, the motorized focuser can be easily mounted on the Crayford focuser of popular SkyWatcher (and many other brands) binoculars. Connected to your computer, you can adjust the focus using any ASCOM compatible software (e.g. N.I.N.A, SharpCap, APT). It is even compatible with the soon-to-be-released ToupTek AstroStation.
In addition to the USB-C connector, there's a jack socket on the body of the device. This can be used to connect either the included handheld controller or a temperature sensor - used when controlling from a desktop computer - to adjust the focus depending on the temperature.
The ToupTek AAF focusing motor in the ToupTek AAF focuser allows absolute positioning and, according to the manufacturer, can move loads up to 5 kg.
It draws the required 5V power supply via the USB-C connector and can also connect to a PC via this data cable.
