The ToupCam XCAM-1080 LITE HDMI microscope camera has been specifically designed for industrial use, offering excellent image quality along with a range of notable features. Its 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution is ideally suited to modern Full HD TVs and projectors.
Thanks to its HDMI output, the camera image can be displayed on a TV or projector without the need for a computer, making it easy to share the microscope image for educational, medical or industrial applications. Its built-in operating system provides extensive standalone functionality: images can be saved to the included USB flash drive as still images or video recordings. What's more, various angle and distance measurements can be performed, and the software can be calibrated to calculate object dimensions in millimetres. For added user convenience, the camera can also be operated using the included USB mouse.
A 230 V mains connection is required for power supply. It connects to microscopes via a C-mount thread.
The product does not feature a USB connection and therefore cannot be connected directly to a PC, smartphone or tablet. Its image can only be displayed on TVs, monitors and projectors equipped with an HDMI input.
