The ToupCam CM 8.3-megapixel microscope camera is a compact colour camera compatible with most standard microscopes: simply replace the eyepiece with the camera. With a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, it can capture exceptionally fine details.
Replacing earlier models, the ToupCam EP 8.3-megapixel microscope camera features a new SONY sensor with more efficient data compression and a faster frame rate of 30 fps (frames per second), delivering smoother video and live-view images.
The camera's ToupView software is highly sophisticated and offers a wide range of functions, including measurement functions that, after calibration, allow the dimensions of objects under the microscope to be determined.
The camera features a C-mount connection and can be fitted to both biological and stereo microscopes using suitable adapters.
The optional 0.5× reduction lens is highly recommended, as it provides an even wider field of view.
It supports Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS X and Linux.
