The ToupCam CM 12-megapixel microscope camera is a compact colour camera compatible with most standard microscopes: simply replace the eyepiece with it. With a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, it is capable of capturing exceptionally fine details.
The camera features a Sony sensor with more efficient data compression and faster frame rates of 30 fps at 5–8 megapixels and 20 fps at 12 megapixels (frames per second), resulting in smoother video and live-view footage.
The camera's ToupView software is highly sophisticated and offers numerous functions, including measurement functions that, following calibration, allow the dimensions of objects under the microscope to be determined.
The camera features a C-mount connection and can be fitted to both biological and stereo microscopes using suitable adapters.
Purchasing the optional 0.5x reducer lens is highly recommended, as it enables an even wider field of view.
It supports Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS X and Linux.
