The Svbony SV220 Duo-Band (SII & OIII) 7 nm Filter (1.25") facilitates the work of astrophotographers using color cameras in light-polluted urban environments. It allows light to pass through only in two very narrow bands while blocking other wavelengths.
The Svbony SV220 Duo-Band (1.25") narrowband filter has a 85% light transmission at the center of the SII (672 nm) and OIII (500.7 nm) wavelengths. It is designed to enable the creation of deep-sky images in the SHO (Hubble Palette) color mode with color cameras when combined with the Svbony SV220 Duo-Band (H-Alpha & OIII) 7 nm filter. Due to its narrow passband, the use of these filters results in effective work even in light-polluted environments.
The filter comes in a practical protective case. The use of the filter is not recommended in telescopes with a focal ratio faster than f/4.
