The Skywatcher Star Adventurer Counterweight (1 kg) + Shaft is primarily designed for the manufacturer's Star Adventurer mounts. However, it can also be used with the SkyWatcher AzGti mount (an M8/M12 thread reducer is required), or possibly with other similar products.
The counterweight has an outer diameter of approximately 50 mm, the counterweight shaft has a diameter of 12 mm, and an M8 thread is located at the end for attachment to the mount. The Skywatcher Star Adventurer Counterweight (1 kg) + Shaft is compatible with counterweight shafts of 18 mm diameter.
