A precise and shake-free mount greatly increases the comfort of observations. The head is made entirely of metal, which creates stability. The large Teflon-bearing shafts slide smoothly along both axes, the "tightness" of which can be adjusted with the hand-clutch screws, with its moving arm allowing you to navigate your telescope with great precision. Two versions are available: one with aluminium feet and one with 45 mm diameter steel feet.
The aluminium-legged version stands out for its particularly light weight, with a load capacity of up to 15 cm Schmidt or Makasutov-Cassegrain binoculars, but it can also be used with lightweight short Newtonian or refracting telescopes. The steel-legged version can carry up to 20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain or high-intensity Newtonian telescopes.
The steel-legged version weighs approx. 8 kg.
