The SkyWatcher 0.85x focal reducer/corrector enhances the efficiency of your telescope: by reducing the focus, the required exposure times can be reduced by one-third and the imaged field of view is also significantly increased. Another advantage is that optical errors at the edge of the field of view are also reduced.
Since the characteristics of the image plane of apochromatic telescopes significantly depend on the diameter and focal ratio of the optics, different reducers are required for different models. An M48 thread is available on the reducer for camera attachment.
