The advantage of two-eye stereo microscopes is that children don't need to bother with making preparations: they can simply place the objects underneath and discover the articulated legs of a beetle or the veins of a leaf at 20x magnification. Thanks to its built-in LED illumination and glass lenses, the image is surprisingly sharp and clear.

The attached images were taken using the microscope and a Lenovo S1La40 mobile phone with the eyepiece. The first two pictures are a detail of a 1000 -Ft, the bird's head is on the 5 -Ft coin, the third picture is a detail of a 2000 -Ft banknote.
