Pulsar Axion XQ30 PRO thermal imaging camera

The Pulsar Axion XQ30 PRO is the successor to the Axion XM30F, but is closer in capabilities to the Axion 2 XQ35 PRO. Pulsar has made many improvements to the device's internal software, including three highlight levels and eight colour modes. With a compact size, but at the same time a high level of performance and, last but not least, good value for money, the handheld thermal imaging camera with its 1050 m detection range will be a useful companion for hunters, members of law enforcement and guarding organisations, but of course it can also be used in the civilian sector.

The thermal camera's detector (microbolometer mesh) has a resolution of 384 x 288 pixels with a high (NETD>25)thermal resolution. The device's AMOLED display with 640 x 480 resolution shows details beautifully. The advantage of AMOLED technology is that it doesn't darken at temperatures much lower than LCD, and is excellent for use between -25°C and +40°C, with a significantly more beautiful, natural effect. The image refresh rate is 50 Hz, which ensures a continuous, lifelike image for the person viewing, even with fast-moving objects under observation. Its weather-resistant IPX7 rated magnesium housing provides durable protection for sophisticated electronics, even in harsh weather conditions. Because it has a very wide field of view, it can be used to sweep a large area at a time. This feature is an advantage for rescue, search and hunting applications.

3200 mAh battery (APS3) can power the thermal imager for up to 8 hours depending on the mode of use, but it can also be powered from an external 5V (USB-C) power source. The basic 2x magnification can be digitally increased up to 8x. The Pulsar Axion XQ30 PRO can record both still images and video, as indicated by the flashing status LED. Both images (jpg) and videos (mp4) are 528 x 400 pixels and are stored in the internal 16 GB memory of the thermal camera.
