Polarising filters are the best way to reduce the brightness of the Moon. By rotating the two elements, the amount of light transmission can be varied according to the current lunar phase and magnification. The transmittance of a pair of polarizing filters can be adjusted between about 5% and 50%.
Attention! The surface of the filter may be scratched. Take special care when cleaning as the surfaces are easily scratched.
