Opticron Savanna R PC Oasis 8x33 binocular

The small size and weight of the Opticron Savanna R PC Oasis 8x33 makes it ideal to take with you on hiking, birding or scouting, but not so small that you have to compromise on optical performance like you would with a pocket binocular.

The 33 mm objective diameter gives enough light and resolution to see a nice, sharp, contrasty and bright image in average daytime conditions, but even in overcast, light twilight conditions the binoculars perform very well. Optical elements are FMC coated on all surfaces, so there are no ghosting or distracting reflections, and light transmission is very high.Opticron's own specially developed Oasis-C+ coating on the prism system gives an even clearer, brighter image. The phase coating steamed onto the prisms guarantees brilliant coloursand is made from state-of-the-art BAK4 glass, which also delivers outstanding imaging in its class. The field of view is also quite wide, 122m at 1000m.

The viewing distance is quite long, and thanks to the fold-up eyecup, you can adjust the binoculars to an ideal position with or without glasses, giving you the advantage of being able to look inside comfortably. The grip of the Opticron Savanna R 8x33 is comfortable and the eye relief can be adjusted over a wide range (52-76 mm), so even children aged 7 years and over can look inside.

The binoculars come with a comfortable neoprene neck strap and a detachable lens cap to ensure they don't get lost during use
