Oklop Padded Carrying Case for Complete EQ-3 and AZ-Go2 Mounts is designed specifically for these types of mounts. Based on our experience, the condition of astronomical instruments, telescopes, and mounts deteriorates not from use, but from improper transportation. This is where the quality carrying cases for the mount head and legs come into play.
With a 2 cm foam padding, they excellently protect both the instrument and any other items transported with it from damage (as the metal parts of the mount do not press against or scratch them). The cases are made from strong, durable materials, with robust zippers that open practically. The case can be carried by hand or as a backpack-like bag using the strong shoulder strap.
It is suitable for the aluminium tripod version of the EQ-3 mount, but the steel-leg EQ-3 does not fit into the carrying case.
