The spotting scope also features an integrated sliding sunshade, which reduces stray light entering the scope and further enhances image quality.
Nikon Prostuff spotting scopes can be used even in harsh weather conditions, as the housing design and O-rings provide waterproofing (up to a depth of 1 metre for 10 minutes). The nitrogen gas filling inside the tube prevents the internal optical surfaces from fogging up during sudden temperature changes.
Thanks to its exceptionally low weight, you can take it anywhere, as even a basic photographic tripod can support it. Two threaded mounting holes in the main body ensure secure attachment to a tripod.

With the FSB-series digital camera adapter, the eyepieces can be connected to many compact digital cameras from the Nikon COOLPIX range, allowing you to capture the image you see.
