A starpointer or red dot finder is a single-magnification "finder scope" through which a dot or crosshair shows where the telescope is pointing. Two small allen wrenches with adjustable screws can be used to parallel it to the telescope. The starpointer's crosshairs can be selected from 4 patterns and the colour can be adjusted in 4 steps. In fact, the crosshairs can be either green or red.
The starpointer can be attached to the telescope by means of a slipper, so it is easy to remove and does not make transport difficult (as it does not get stuck in anything).
The device works with CR 2032 button cell batteries.
