Kowa products represent the premium category in the world of binoculars. Accordingly, the new DCF series is optimized for those who want a premium instrument for everyday use.
The Kowa Prominar BD 10x25 DCF binoculars stand out from the field with their high-quality optics and ultra-lightweight yet rugged construction. It has a uniquely small close-up focal length of 1.8 metres - you can observe objects up to 8x magnification. Its interior is filled with nitrogen gas to withstand rain, snow and atmospheric humidity. The ultra-lightweight (320g) binoculars with roof prisms can be taken on hikes, to the football match, to the race track - and basically anywhere you need a small but quick-deployable binocular.
The rubber-coated grip is not only comfortable, but also provides a stable grip, even in wet weather. The rotating rubber eyecups make it easy to find the ideal viewing position.
New solutions for high image quality
Multiple factors are "responsible" for premium imaging in the Kowa BD 10x25 DCF binoculars. High-quality lenses ensure extreme reduction of chromatic aberration and very high image contrast across the entire field of view.
A light recovery of 99% or more is guaranteed by the C3 coating applied to the top-edge prisms of the binoculars. Thanks to this coating, the binoculars provide a brighter and sharper image than its competitors, and even ensure accurate colour reproduction. The same purpose is served by the multi-layer optical coatings applied to all lenses and all glass.
The binoculars have a very large viewing distance (eye relief) and the folding eyecup allows you to position the binoculars in the ideal position for comfortable viewing, with or without glasses.
The inside is filled with nitrogen gas, which prevents moisture from entering the instrument even in the most extreme conditions (heavy rain, snow, fog). However, the binocular is not suitable for underwater use.
