The new InfiRay Iris IL35 R+ thermal camera is a sophisticated member of the powerful mid-range field of viewfinder thermal cameras. It owes its excellent image quality to the perfect combination of optics and electronics. IniRay R+ cameras are powered by artificial intelligence to enhance images by highlighting important details.
The device's F0.9 luminosity optics collect almost 20% more light compared to the F1.0 (also considered very bright) lenses commonly used in the market. The adjustable focus lens has a 2x magnification by default, which can be digitally increased up to 8x. To detect human shapes, a very sensitive 20mk thermal sensor gives you the ability to detect up to 1800m. With a tiny 12 µ pixel size, even the smallest details are more visible. The image captured by the device can be viewed on a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, cold-resistant AMOLED sensor.
A wide range of colour modes and settings help you set the best view for the conditions, including different colour modes for quick detection or even eye-saving modes. The PIP mode (picture-in-picture) lets you see a small magnified image at a time, while still maintaining the visual quality of the surroundings. You can also control the viewfinder thermal imaging camera via WiFi and view or save your captured images. You can record not only still images but also video, thanks to its built-in microphone, the latter even with audio, into its built-in memory.
The compact and lightweight housing provides a secure grip. It's powered by a 18650 removable battery, but you also have the option of using an external power supply such as a powerbank via a USB-C cable. The thermal camera can run for up to 5 hours on its own battery.
On the eyepiece (eye lens) sidewith a range of -5 to +5, you can adjust the focus to your own eyes with diopter correction.
