The renewed Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE15S thermal camera is a versatile, compact thermal camera, featuring a more modern, larger display compared to the previous LE series. The manufacturer has increased the detection range and the base magnification as well. The Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE15S thermal camera allows for the detection and observation of the smallest heat sources at any time of day. The small, easily operable camera with one hand provides excellent images even in complete darkness. It is well-suited for hunting or observing animals, and beyond that, it can be useful for security, home protection purposes, as well as rescue and search tasks. It can be a useful companion during camping, night fishing, or other nighttime activities.
The Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE15S differs from the Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE10S thermal camera mainly in its increased (750 m) detection range and larger (2.2-17.6x) magnification compared to the LE10S model.
The 800 x 600 pixel resolution OLED display allows for noticeable and detailed observation of any heat source emitted by animal and human bodies, all shown by the thermal camera with a 50 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth operation. Thanks to its small size, the Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE15S thermal camera can even fit in a pocket. Its use is extremely simple, and due to its ergonomic design, it can be easily held with one hand, leaving the other hand free. The conveniently placed buttons allow for easy control of the simple menu, and it operates completely silently, automatically adjusting to temperature without the need for constant and noisy calibration.
Shock (1.5 meters onto soft ground) and waterproof (IP67), it performs well even under extreme conditions. Users can choose from multiple color modes according to the user, terrain, and temperature conditions. An object the size of a human or deer can be detected from up to 750 meters away (actual identification is about one-third of this distance). Thanks to its base 2.2x magnification, it has a wide field of view, and the magnification can be digitally adjusted up to 17.6x.
With the built-in battery of the Hikmicro Lynx PRO LE15S, it can operate continuously and economically for more than 6 hours with WiFi use, or up to 8 hours without it. The device can be charged using the included USB-C cable. The power source must be able to provide at least 2A charging current (e.g., power bank, network adapter, etc.). Thanks to its built-in 8 GB memory, images seen on the device can be stored, and videos can also be recorded.
Besides the camera, the package includes a charging cable, wrist strap, microfiber cleaning cloth, and a Hungarian language user manual.
For WiFi connection, the HIKMICRO SIGHT Hungarian language application must be downloaded, which is available for both Android and iOS platforms.
