The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 HE25L 2.0 5.5-22x60 thermal imaging and night vision binoculars combine daytime colour digital viewing, night vision and thermal imaging with image and audio recording. It can also be used as a laser rangefinder, providing accuracy of ±1 m up to 1,000 m.
What has changed in version 2.0 compared to its predecessor:
- Interchangeable 940 nm and 850 nm infrared illuminators.
- Focusing is adjusted centrally at the rear, similarly to conventional binoculars, rather than at the front near the objective lens.
- A rear switch allows quick switching between night vision and thermal imaging modes.
- An integrated ballistic calculator assists with hunting.
- An effective image stabilizer delivers a steady image.
- Shutterless technology provides uninterrupted viewing, without image interruption during refresh cycles.
- Further minor changes have also been made to the device's internal software, including two new colour modes.
The Habrok 4K combines practical functions in a binocular format, making it particularly popular with hunters, although the two technologies are also useful in many other fields. For example, thermal imaging can take priority during search and reconnaissance operations, as it allows large areas to be scanned quickly. For rescue and security applications, the night vision function can be more beneficial due to its more realistic image rendition.
The robust, ergonomic housing features IP67 protection against dust and water, making it truly designed for field use. It withstands extreme temperatures well and can be used between -30°C and +55°C. The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 thermal imaging and night vision binoculars are powered by interchangeable 18650 batteries, with four included with the product. The device can also accept an external power source via a USB-C connector.
The night vision function is supported by an infrared illuminator integrated between the two optical channels of the binoculars, where the laser rangefinder is also located. According to the manufacturer, the device is effective up to 400 m with the 850 nm infrared illuminator, and up to 350 m with the 940 nm infrared illuminator. The advantage of the 940 nm version is its invisible light, while the 850 nm illuminator provides slightly longer illumination range. The infrared illuminator of the new Habrok 4K 2.0 is interchangeable, and the device is supplied as standard with the 940 nm invisible-light version.
Interpupillary distance can be comfortably adjusted between 60 and 74 mm. The image on both displays can be adjusted to suit the user's eyesight with -5D to +3D diopter adjustment. In thermal imaging mode, it offers 5.5x to 22x magnification and a detection range of 12.2 to 1,200 m. In night vision mode, it offers 4.3x to 17x magnification, with a range from 12 m up to 350 to 400 m, depending on the type of infrared illuminator.
The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution OLED display. The manufacturer has used a special rounded design to further enhance the natural viewing experience. Both photos and videos can be recorded, with audio available for video recordings, and saved to the integrated 64 GB memory. Files can also be transferred to a smartphone or tablet via the HIKMICRO Sight app. The app also enables remote control of the device.
