The GSO 2x ED Barlow lens is specifically recommended for use with large 2" eyepieces, but the supplied reducing adapter also allows it to be used with 1.25" eyepieces.
Thanks to the special glass material used in the Barlow lens, it offers excellent colour correction and light transmission. The lens has a clear aperture of 37 mm and features a multilayered (fully multicoated) coating. As with premium accessories (e.g. Tele Vue), the lens edges are blackened to ensure maximum contrast.
The GSO 2x ED Barlow lens is threaded to accept 2" filters.
For DSLR astrophotography, an optional 2"/T2 adapter and the appropriate T2 ring are required.
