The GSO's 2x ED Barlow lens is designed to accommodate large 2" eyepieces, but with the addition of a narrowing adapter as standard, you can also use it with 1.25" eyepieces.
The barlow lens features extremely good colour correction and light transmission thanks to the special glass material it contains. The lens has a 37mm clear aperture and is fully multicoated. As with high-end accessories (e.g. Televue), the lens edge is of course painted black for maximum contrast!
The GSO 2x Barlow lens is threaded to accept 2" filters.
When shooting with a DSLR camera, an optional 2"/T2 adapter and the appropriate T2 ring are required.
