This Digital Microscope with 7-inch display combines the small-medium magnification of stereo microscopes with the larger cellular size of biological microscopes. It can be used in a wide range of applications where it is important that several people can see the object under examination on a single display, for product inspection, for example to detect hidden defects in electronic panels, for education, coin restoration, insect identification, or even for other hobby purposes such as modelling. In biological studies, especially larger, non-transparent life forms can be used for testing, e.g. water beetles.
The 7-inch display is almost the size of a tablet, so you can see details in HD resolution. To see more than just the live image, you'll also need a microSD card (not included) to which you can save seven video sizes, up to 1080 FullHD in AVI format, or still images in JPG format from 2 megapixels to 16 megapixels (1920×1080 to 4608×3456 pixels). The microscope can also be connected to a computer and the live image can be viewed in this way.
While the rugged metal base and metal moving mechanism hold the digital microscope well in place when integrated with the display, you'll be glad to know that this microscope comes with a distance release at higher magnifications! The remote trigger not only lets you launch photos and videos, but also allows you to easily navigate through the logical menu.
If needed, the 7-inch display can be tilted from the upright position to a nearly horizontal position. In order to also take measurements, the package includes a very useful transparent credit card-sized calibration card, on which, among other things, micrometer graduated scales are recorded.
Coin lovers will be particularly pleased to know that, in addition to the main 8 LED illumination unit, two swan-neck LED lights are also provided, giving you freely controllable light sources, the brightness of which can also be adjusted as desired by adjusting the potentiometer built into the table.
The large display and three lighting units are powered by a built-in battery, which can be charged via USB.
