The Delta Smart 5MP Pro Digital Materials Microscope produces 5 megapixel resolution images using its CMOS-type sensor, as well as 1280 x 960 pixel resolution video, with a magnification range of 20x-300x. As its name suggests, it is a high-quality and practical instrument excellent for the inspection of materials, objects and surfaces. Although the Delta Smart 5MP Pro digital materials testing microscope is not a stereo microscope, it is presented here because of its common application.
A live image of the object being examined (as well as photos and videos of it)is displayed on your computer screen.The small microscope camera can be easily installed on your computer with the included software, which then takes images or videos of the object being examined at a variety of resolutions and sizes. The microscope connects to your PC or laptop via a standard USB port.
The Delta Smart 5MP Pro microscope has a maximum image resolution of 2582 x 1944 pixels, with a working distance of 10-150 mm,within which you can get a sharp image of your subject. A beautiful image is guaranteed by a lens system made of high quality optical glass and a built-in IR filter. The object under examination is illuminated by 8 bright white LEDs with variable brightness (brightness control knob on the USB cable).
Magnifications from 20x to 300x can be achieved by rotating the focus and elevation adjustment knobs. Basically you get sharp images in the ranges between 20-50x and 200-300x, the magnification range between the two is not zoomable. Photos can be taken (exposed) using the button on the USB cable or the software.
The Delta microscope is comfortable to use thanks to its stable metal stand, but you can also work with it without a stand, holding it in your hand (for example, when examining surfaces). The stand also includes a height-adjustable mounting ring and a height-adjustment knob.
