This product can be used to balance a telescope on the following mounts if the manufacturer did not include sufficient counterweights: AM3, AM5, AZ-EQ5, HEQ5, EQ6, EQ6-R.
For example, if the balance of the telescope is affected by astrophotography equipment or heavier accessories on the focuser side, additional counterweight may be required.
The counterweight bore diameter is 20 mm, and with an optional reducing ring, it can also be mounted on a smaller counterweight shaft.
