In the development of the Baader L-RGB Photographic CMOS Filter Set, designed for the new super-sensitive CMOS cameras, the manufacturer paid maximum attention to detail. CMOS cameras are highly sensitive to reflections and flares, which necessitated the creation of newly designed L-RGB filters featuring special anti-reflection coatings called Reflex-Blocker. Naturally, the edges of the lenses are also painted black to prevent flares. Moreover, the unique design of the filters involves polishing and rounding the edges before applying the coatings, preventing moisture from entering between the filter layers, significantly extending their lifespan. Additionally, the Life-Coat coating makes the filter surfaces particularly resistant.
The Baader L-RGB Photographic CMOS Filter Set has transmission characteristics tailored to the specifics of CMOS cameras. By using the 4-filter set, you will achieve completely color-accurate and tone-correct images: the digital images will reveal the object in colors as if seen with the naked eye. The manufacturer also ensured that when switching between individual filters, no refocusing is needed, as they are parfocal.
The filters are only 2 mm thin.
