The Baader ContrastBooster is also more aggressive than the Moon&SkyGlow filter in contrast enhancement and atmospheric stray light, and reduces color aberrations in acromatic lenses, although it does shift the image seen in the telescope slightly toward a yellow tone. The filter transmits 95% of the light, so there is virtually no loss of light. The inner surface has 23 layers of coating, the outer 7 layers, and is also scratch-resistant.
