The Baader Classic Plössl 32 mm eyepiece was designed to complement the highly popular Baader Classic Orthoscopic eyepiece series, but it also performs excellently as a standalone eyepiece. As intended by the manufacturer, it can be used effectively with the Baader Q-Turret eyepiece turret, as it is parfocal with the Baader Classic Orthoscopic eyepiece range, ensuring sharp focus in the same position when switching between eyepieces.
The Baader Classic Plössl 32 mm eyepiece features Baader’s proprietary HT (High Transmission) anti-reflection coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces for maximum light transmission. Naturally, the lens edges are painted matte black, further reducing internal reflections within the eyepiece.
The recessed volcano-top design makes viewing easier and more comfortable, while the fold-down rubber eyecups prevent stray light from entering the eyepiece.
Its apparent field of view is 52 degrees, matching that of most popular Plössl eyepieces. The bottom of the 1.25" barrel features a standard filter thread.
